Florida Blue Lounge

If you have had the pleasure of visiting EPCOT, you may recognize the location as Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Akershus used to be the place to eat while you enjoy the best of Disney’s princesses. 

Location

The Hall was home to Snow White, Belle, Cinderella, Princess Aurora, and Ariel. The wonderful storybook dining inside the medieval castle that hosted the princess promenades is temporarily unavailable at the moment. 

In the absence of this, Florida Blue is using the space to bring wonderful relaxation to your Disney day! The Florida Blue Lounge is now the official occupant of Akershus Hall.

Hours

The Florida Blue Lounge is open daily fro 12-6pm from September 1st through November 20th 2021. The lounge is located in the Norway Pavilion very close to the Frozen Ever After attraction.

Florida Blue Entry Information

The first step is to visit Florida Blue’s website and download your guest pass. Second you will want to show the friendly Florida Blue associates your guest pass for entry.

The Lounge offers Disney goers the chance to get a break from the brutal heat in the nice crisply cool air conditioning. You also get to take in the beautiful architecture and windows inside the castle. 

Snacks

Find a table that suits your party size and you can just relax and wait. Shortly after you enter and get seated an attendant will conveniently come by with complimentary refreshments and snacks! Who doesn’t love free goodies?

They offer an assortment of snacks like apples, yogurt, cheese, oranges, veggies with ranch dip, pretzels, and hummus. You are free to take two choices per person. 

Drinks

You also have a variety of refreshing drinks to choose from as well. They offer water, lemon water, and AHA sparkling water (strawberry & cucumber, lime & watermelon, and blueberry & pomegranate flavors).

So make sure that you plan a little rest and relaxation into your agenda when you visit EPCOT during the International Food & Wine Festival.
